We just had carpeting pulled up and replaced with wood flooring. Working with Sam to select the floor was very easy and he gave me confidence when he showed me what color wood he recommended to match the adjacent room. The crew came today and did a very thorough, excellent installation. They were quick and careful when moving the furniture. We are altogether very happy with the job performed by Floors and Designs/Burke. It looks great!

If you are looking to replace/upgrade the flooring in your home I have to recommend Flooring and Design in Burke, VA. I had them remove my old carpet upstairs are replace it with hardwood. AMAZING experience from start to finish. Professional, prompt, excellent craftsmanship, and pricing better than I was expecting. I can’t recommend them enough, if I could give 10 stars I would. From start to finish a first class business in every regard. Apologies to my neighbors for the noise today. It comes with the territory.

When we purchased our home in 2018, we knew that we would eventually want to replace the carpet in the living room, dining room, and the main office to match the hardwood floors already in the kitchen, family room, and foyer (Bruce Hardwood-Gunstock). Once we were ready to make the change, we were somewhat overwhelmed with finding the best flooring company, so we asked neighbors for recommendations and did some research by reading online reviews.
After selecting three companies to give us estimates, we chose Floors and Designs and could not be happier with our choice! First, we were impressed with Sam’s professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. In addition to having hardwood on the main level, we wanted to replace the carpet on the stairs, hallway, and office on the second floor but were concerned about the overall cost. Sam patiently listened to our ideas and concerns then presented us with different options to consider before making our final decision.
On the day the flooring was scheduled to be installed, we were equally impressed with the “A-Team” sent for the installation. The entire crew was professional, courteous, hard-working, and true craftsmen.
